Technical Health Check
In order to provide you with the best support service possible, SBS has established a Technical Health Check. Incorporating rigorous processes and procedures, it involves one of our consultants undertaking an analysis of the technical aspects of your systems/applications and the day-to-day operations of your users. Typically the Technical Health Check looks at:
- current configuration (hardware/software)
- identifying the key business requirements that the system supports
- how your systems have been designed and architected
- the quality of the coding and the comments
- the user interface
- user perceptions
- any shortcomings of the system / business processes
- the integrity of the database
- performance issues
- network issues
- server configuration
- memory management
- backup strategies, disaster recovery and security
- the state of the system documentation
- Recommendations for the future Current configuration (hardware/software)
As well as analysing and documenting the current state of your systems/applications, our consultant can report any immediate problems and make appropriate recommendations. This insight also provides our consultant with vital information about technical aspects and how the systems/applications are actually used. Armed with this knowledge the consultant is then be in a much better position to provide you with the most efficient support service possible. (This knowledge will also be shared with a second consultant to ensure continuity of support at all times).
MOSS 2007 support
