Satellite communications are fast moving and highly complex. To cope with a wide range of air-time arrangements, Symbiosys Business Solutions has designed and developed SATbill, a fully comprehensive and sophisticated Air-time Billing System.

This system enables communications providers to track entire service cycles, from customer order to service provision and invoice payment – at a fraction of the cost of comparable air-time billing systems.

Core elements of the System include:

  • Single-click billing.
  • Handles time, data (MiB and KB) and event-based (e.g. SMS) calls, including packet data and 256-bit Inmarsat C data.
  • Supports D91-style and text-based CDR formats.
  • Services covered: - Inmarsat BGAN, FBB, SBB and SPS. - Inmarsat B, Inmarsat C, Fleet, M, mini-M and M4. - Thuraya. - Iridium, including Short Burst Data.
  • May be configured to handle your own VSAT offerings.
  • Full CDR searching and control.
  • Contract (post-pay) and Advance Pay tariffs supported. Balance Summaries showing remaining credit are generated for Advance Pay agreements. Invoices are generated for contract agreements.
  • Handles all monthly or annual subscription and services activation charges, including part-period charges, if required.
  • Handles multiple add-on extra-cost services, such as fixed IP address costs, for monthly or annual charging.
  • Invoices and Balance Summaries may be produced in Euros, US dollars or UK Sterling. This is selectable by the customer.
  • Billing output in PDF format.
  • Interfaces are available to standard accounting systems.
  • Easy to install and manage.
  • Available as single-user or client-server.
