Symbiosys Business Solutions (SBS) is a successful software company specialising in the development and support of bespoke software systems for medium-to-large enterprises throughout the UK. SBS has also developed a Satellite Airtime Billing system called SATbill, which has been implemented at various sites throughout Europe and the company is now looking to grow sales worldwide.

The company is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join the bespoke development team.



Software Developer


Job Summary: The successful candidate will work primarily from our offices in Congleton, Cheshire and where necessary at client sites throughout the UK to develop bespoke solutions based on VB.NET, ASP.NET, C# and Microsoft SQL Server. The role requires a wide understanding of business and information technology, coupled with excellent interpersonal competencies.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will have experience of the full project lifecycle and will be responsible for assisting in requirements definition, design, development, and on-going support.

Interpersonal competencies: In addition to technical and business skills, the ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities


Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 + Annual Discretionary Bonus
