SATbill Satellite Equipment Rentals Module

SATbillThe Satellite Equipment Rentals Module is fully integrated within the SATbill system. It handles complex rental tariffs and provides rapid barcode-based check-out and check-in, easy reconciliation of rental returns and Single-click rental invoicing.

The core features of the Equipment Rentals Module include:

  • Each rental item may be given a specific rental and a specific air-time tariff
  • Equipment can be reserved and converted to a Rental at the appropriate time
  • Provides Packing List, Despatch Note and Courier Instruction documents
  • Generates a ‘Check-In’ sheet for testing and verifiying returned equipment
  • Enables the configuration of a complex ‘kit of parts’
  • Handles both unique and generic items
  • A rental may contain multiple items, which may have different start and end dates
  • ‘Express Rental’ option to enable rapid rental despatches when demand is high
  • Handles both air-time-consuming items and non-air-time-consuming items
  • Handles delivery and other one-off rental charges
  • Automatic opening of the air-time contract at the date & time of check-out
  • Automatic closing of the air-time contract at the date & time of check-in
  • All calls are the customer’s responsibility from the check-out to the check-in
  • SIMs may be moved between handsets and all air-time charges correctly tracked
  • Items lost on rental may be marked as such and charged accordingly
  • Contains all the features of the SATbill Air-Time Billing system
  • Separate Rental and Air-Time invoices (late CDRs will be billed when they arrive)
  • Invoicing in the customers currency
  • PDF-, Word- and paper-based invoices
  • Interfaces available to various financial and accounting systems
